Resumo

Os conceitos da teoria dos stakeholders tiveram seu início nos anos 1980, sendo R. Edward Freeman o precursor mais notável, baseando-se em diversas áreas temáticas para a conceptualização da teoria, que definia que a organização deveria se ater aos interesses de todos aqueles que estariam interessados no seu bem-estar. Ao longo das últimas décadas, a teoria tem sido utilizada em diversos estudos organizacionais e áreas de pesquisa. Uma das relações da teoria dos stakeholders com o marketing está na ideia de como criar valor para os clientes, que são um dos stakeholders das organizações. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a produção científica sobre marketing e a teoria dos stakeholders. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo bibliométrico a partir da plataforma Web of ScienceTM, em que foi obtida uma amostra de 142 artigos. O banco de dados elaborado foi exportado para o pacote de softwares organizadores de métricas científicas HistCite e, então, para o gerador de imagens Vosviewer. Os resultados apontaram para uma tendência de expansão nos estudos acerca da temática, com países desenvolvidos compondo a maioria das publicações, e uma recente predominância de estudos que abordam percepção de clientes e geração de valor para stakeholders.
